I've still got a box of handkerchiefs still unopened after about 40 years. A Christmas present from the '70's I think! Tissues for me all the way!

Cooperman - my grandfather did that in the '60's whilst listening to the cricket on hot summer days in the garden with the very occasional sounds of 4 or 5 people clapping during the match.

Always use them. Hankies are so useful to mop up lots of things

Far better for cleaning your spectacles.

Tissues are useless.

I prefer to use the curtains.

You take, "the curtains," everywhere with you - Foinavon?

Much prefer a hankie to tissues thanks and too long in the tooth to change now.

I suppose if they were good enough for Pavarotti, they're good enough for anyone! Couldn't imagine Pavarotti mopping his brow with a tissue - ugh - how common!
