It'll take a day to draw and post something on the PC art program and post it for
this thread.... But I need to add some bull sheet to the heap of misinformation
about alien life out there?

Start drawing kiddies.

Proxima Centauri is a red dwarf. It's X-Ray emissions would be similar to our Sun, but its overall output is much smaller, thus theoretically - given that we know of only one other life-supporting planet - the far greater proximity of the new planet to its Star may not be insurmountable

Problem if you're talking about life is that PC is a flaring star - every so often its output will increase dramatically before returning to its standard processes. This makes it unlikely to be able to support life.

Talking of misinformation, remember when the creationists wanted Galileo burnt at the stake for informing people that the earth wasn't the centre of the universe and that the earth travels around the sun?

Don't think we really want that lot with a hand on the controls do we?

What about Beltegeuse or beetlejuice the big super nova that is 4 light years wide, its hangs about proxima on its travels and is on its last legs, its supposed to blow up in the next million years and that will be the end of us all so it don't matter about one day our sun will bla bla bla ,beetlejuice will see us all doomed long before we have to move house.Shocked

Betelgeuse is not that massive brassneck. It is about fifteen times the mass of our Sun.

Given its relatively slow rotation, even if it does go supernova it is unlikely to produce a gamma-ray burst and is too far away for the X-rays and ultra-violet radiation to have any great effect here. The light from such an event would definitely be visible from Earth, even in daylight, but would pose no danger.

it would take 78 thousand years to get to proxima if we headed off tomorrow, you would have to pack a hell of a lunch.

And by the way beetlejuice will swell two about 200 times it size when the faithful day comes which should make it 800 light years wide and at the moment its only 640 light away from us.you have all been warned "weer doomed"

they always discover these planets when their 4 year research time is nearly up,then they discover an earth like planet that needs further research and further investigation and of course further government funding to keep them in a job for another 4 years.Laugh

we've sent men to the moon, I believe that. I believe with the new
digital cameras and lenses you can zoom in and see the impressions
and the lander? but the moon is only 250,000 miles.
Australia is 12,000 miles so it's just 20 times the distance to Australia.
with no resistance from space vacuum.
But getting to other planets Is nearly impossible - they explained the energy
needed would be astronomical(?)

Zorro you believe we landed on the moon , but would you believe they were observed by a huge line of UFO's when they got there Confused
Not threatening but made it very clear we were well out of our Comfort zone Cool

Well he believes some rather outlandish stuff so who knows Mischief

Mc Moonbeam.
Youtube is smashing to find out how to do certain things or to find out what products are available to do a job, but to gain knowledge....Id leave it.
This conspiracist generation keep the likes of David Icke in pop tarts by stirring up rubbish and creating click bait based on fantasy fabrication that has a very light sprinkling of fact to keep the viewer around.
These theories are little more than curiosities that should be found only in the entertainment sections of bookshops.

I agree Dustybin

Youtube is an excellent source for information , but there's certainly a fair deal of Propaganda & Disinfo churned out , but there's so much coming out nowadays that you really have to start to question the norm & decide for yourself

The mainstream media have lied & fooled us for years & will Never tell you the truth , whereas the alternative media would , people like Gary Mckinnon have hacked NASA & found evidence , NASA is not what people think & do not work in the interest of the public good

The more research you do the more you'll realize there's a lot more to all this than mere Fairy Tales

Tell me why JFK was killed , tell me about 9-11 , tell me about the Financial System being artificially Propped up , Oh you can't as they're all just Fairy Tales to the smart old minds of the Betfair Forums Happy

JFK did a lot of dangerous stuff. Vietnam. cuba world war 3. race relations. mafia investigations. federal banking legislation. bay of pigs etc.
how many toes did he step on.

9-11 happened because osama bin laden wanted to draw the USA into a financial war that would bankrupt them. I think he did a good job. two trillion dollars later.

forging currency is okay if it's done by the governments?

I dont get drawn into those speculative debates regarding the oft trampled grounds of the likes of 9/11 etc.
Minds get made up irrespective of anything else so people just dont bother getting into such debates as they are a waste of time.
Which kind of applies to the argument of media.
Just because 'old media' might not have told you the stuff you think you should have been told, it doesnt intrinsically mean 'new media' is any better.
The fact remains that new media just doesnt get scrutinised as the people who come up with the theories generally have a captive audience and/or get paid advertising space from the sources like Youtube etc who in themselves arnt regulated unless the material is 'extremist' and even they as an enterprise they are law unto themselves.

The talk of NASA acting in something akin to nefarious intent makes me think of the debate recently on climate change where Brian Cox looked completely flumoxed when the guy accused NASA of giving false data on the subject.

The bottomline is that there are infinitely more useless people than useful ones and any fantasy of utopia would never work since everyone would need equality and that suggests everyone is as competent as each other which isnt the case.
The end result is that therefore humans need control, lies get told and bad things happen to make control possible.
Dont think for a second that finding stuff out liberates everyone because the constant with humans is that everyone cheats lies and steals based on the likelihood of getting caught....the impecunous are no more virtuous than those in control, infact Id guess everything would collapse faster if those wishful thinkers had more say in things.
Just an opinion.

so why kill Marylyn Monroe ...

and the only people that benefitted financially from 9-11 were the top brass in the US , Millions of debts wiped & who is to question them

and why were the BBC reporting Building 7 had fallen 20 minutes before it did (this is the BBC not US media)

They're not even Forging currency zorro , it doesn't Exist !!!

Dusty
My point would be that without the internet it would've been impossible for the real truths to have been revealed , even basic internet of early 2000 video was not the norm , Youtube's only been around since 2007 , so think about it , are All these people just so super smart in wanting to fool people , or has the mainstream been fooling you All along ?

The answer is a very simple maths equation for me
By:
dustybin
When: 27 Aug 16 18:17
Im assuming those questions werent posed to me as Id said I dont get drawn on the usual speculation but incase they were;
Monroe, I honestly dont know about her being killed nor care tbh.
9/11, It completely defies logic that so many humans could be eradicated without anyone in the know breaking rank and giving up some irrefutable evidence since they are only human (or perhaps lizards? haha) and humans will always default back into certain known patterns of behaviour....put simply consciences wouldnt hold up to such knowledge without saying something.

With the internet comes the kangaroo court an under regulated 'reporting' of the most spectacular kind, since who going to magnat to boring plain stories?
The makers of such information have a desire to be followed and make money from advertising based on the amount of people who do.

I agree there's a kind of cult following for such channels but can be interesting as long as you keep an open mind

I obviously don't believe everything i hear , but it's actually Harder for a person to Lie than it is to tell the truth

But you accept the mainstream Lies , you just don't accept how much , the Question is why do they lie , they lie to cover up the truths , kangaroo court lol , the mainstream channels are all controlled by the same peoples Blush
By:
dustybin

Its not about accepting or not accepting...its about being told different stuff by different parties.
Whether I believe something or not wont change the facts, and the facts generally are that those who hold a different narrative to the one being told generally have non....and more often that not dont have what would constitute as 'their fair share' in life.
The events in question didnt impact me directly so I never had reason to question them, and the ripple effect they had on me on a macro level wernt particularly negative.
So for me the status quo might not be ideal but speculating on things I cant possibly know is pointless since Im winning under the conditions.

Perhaps thast divide and rule in operation, but I suspect it isnt.
Its just whichever way you turn you will always have the problem of who regulates the regulator?

If you create an artificial vacuum (by having a moment in time where only truth could be told) then others will rise up and take control and it could be infinitely worse than it is now.
