I mentioned a month ago that the national guard in the USA -
were deploying provisions, rations and trucks into the Washington area - supposedly for a military drill? People were getting upset and posting on youtube. The drill was to take place sometime late August. It's matching up with all these warnings? The youtubers thought it might be a big meteor? Could be anything? even just a drill. |

Stocking up on stuff you use anyway might be a good idea.
You'll use it up over time. |

A couple of extra crates of beer won't go amiss.
Can always drown our sorrows if really bad. |

Aside from the economic consequences, another banking crisis could lead to civil unrest.

North Korea fires submarine-based ballistic missile, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports
Germany may reintroduce a form of national service for civilians to help the army deal with a future disaster. The role of civilians is part of a new civil defence strategy to be discussed by the government on Wednesday. Since the strategy was leaked to the media there has been intense debate about stockpiling food and water. Germany's Die Tageszeitung daily sported a big picture of a hamster on its front page, with the headline "The End is Nigh" - which was widely tweeted. The government said a national disaster was "unlikely" but preparations were needed in case of a future terror attack or "hybrid" conflict involving cyber warfare, which could damage key infrastructure. Russia's military intervention in Ukraine in 2014 - the clandestine seizure of Crimea and support for separatist rebels - has been widely described as "hybrid warfare". On its website the German Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) gives citizens a survival list for emergencies, enough to last two weeks. The list includes: 28 litres (6.2 gallons) of drinking water 4.9kg (10.8 pounds) of bread, noodles, rice, potatoes 5.6kg (12.3 pounds) of vegetables and pulses (preferably pre-cooked) 3.6kg (eight pounds) of fruit and nuts (in jars or tins) All a bit vegetarian for me....off to get some healthy Fray Bentos pies ! |

Who knows whether IS are working with a rogue state...if they ever were to get their hands on a nuclear weapon or chemical weapons they would undoubtedly use them....the consequences of which are not worth thinking about

looking at youtube - people are saying it's a drive towards famine.
using food as a weapon. Food scarcity ? as a way of control. we've had war for 14 years, now it's famine for seven. |
