Worrying for real people who suffer with true mental health problems, they are likely to be shot dead with no questions asked

A Frenchman in Australia killed a 21-year-old British woman and wounded a 30-year-old British man at a backpacker hostel in the state of Queensland, reportedly yelling “Allahu Akbar” while attacking the pair with a knife.
Police arrested the 29-year-old French traveller and were investigating whether the “senseless” attack was motivated by Islamic extremism. According to witnesses, the killer yelled “Allahu Akbar” – Arabic for “God is greater” – during the attack and after he was arrested. Mr Gollschewski said police were investigating whether the attacker was motivated by Islamic extremism, adding: “We could be dealing with a pure criminal act or something related to mental health or drug issues.” |

Most people with mental illness are not violent and are more likely to harm themselves or be the victim of crimes.

Exactly. They run a mile from generalising about any common religious affiliations of perpetrators but are quite happy to stigmatise and marginalise those experiencing mental health difficulties by implication.
This is disgusting. |

Uncanny how mental health issues within Islam seem to result in the stabbing to death of non believers to a chorus of Allahu Akbar.
