Absolutely hated this show. The three words I came away with was ' Sarcoptic Mange Mites'.
The Farmers would discuss ways of making the land yield more than it had done in the past.
In the early seventies it was about pesticides and various chemicals.
Quite depressing to see what cocktail of chemicals you were going to eat that year in veg.
But science moves on and we have Monsanto now. Soon to dissappear and rename itself in a buy out.

did you see the episode the guy got to 98 had one dart left and it hit the wire
