A year or two ago it dawned on this government there were places in England outside the M25 ( apart from Chipping Norton ). Unfortunately none of them knew what they were called so they asked the teaboy and after thinking for 10 minutes he said " Manchester " So now there are two cities in England

They weren't happy with the demands so realising most of the medalists are from Yorkshire they put the parade in Lancashire.

I'd have thought Staffordshire, or Wales might have a greater claim based on 'per head of population'
