And really belting it out too. Any of our other goldies sung with the anthem this Olympics? I've not noticed any. Not a criticism (unlike the England football team who I detest not singing and would make it my first training session if manager, with any player not singing dropped) as I think on the podium they are respectfully listening to their anthem and drinking it all in, but great to see the girls doing it nonetheless.

1 i am agnostic 2 i am a republican i couldnt sing the national anthem, under any circumstances  fwiw the queen and the rest of them have real powers even if you dont know it, see how thay are able to amend draft legislation for their own benefit. |

i may have to look to my parents irish roots in the unlikely event of me being any good at anything

Why would you not be able to sing the national anthem  at the end of the day whats wrong with saying its nice to see a nice white squad & most hockey players seems to be dykes? hardly firing squad material is it - thats the problem with this new breed that are helping to ruin this country taking offence to any little thing |

The way i see it is this ain't England/Britain no more , as i've said before,
how these white young men put themselves on the firing line fighting for this cowardly government now days id never know, as said, it must be bred in them surly that can be the only reason & you'll be treated like a piece of sh1t & if you are lucky enough to make it home you'll be in the back of a queue behind muslim's that wouldn't have a days work in them. Great GB performance, the demands these men and women put themselves through, day in and day out, I hope their qualities shine through and inspire many more. Good for the country and keeps it pushing well above itself in a post brexit world.
However, that anthem has always left me cold but that's because I have no respect for the free loading Buck Palace mob. My politeness and that fact you can't use expletives here stops me from going any further. |
