The swiss have national service and the soldiers keep their gun at home. It's totally normal on swiss trains to see men in uniform complete with their rifle (unloaded) as they commute, seems a bit strange to us. Maybe they should always have their bayonet, they don't like it up em!

Several media outlets published a slightly blurry picture allegedly of the attacker with his eyes blacked out, but showing a man with a thin face, blond hair and goatee and apparently wearing steel-rimmed glasses.
