What is it with women and Sunday Dinner/ Lunch ?

My Dad used to come home a bit late....arguments would start....until eventually the Sunday meal was moved to the evening

I never had that problem as my wife is foreign....no concept of Sunday Dinner.

iplayer ...

Mini-you -- my guess would be the main market would be models of family members rather than self -- the company structure and ownership seemed a bit vague -- Peter was less dismissive than the rest -- no offers

Clobber -- pitchers wanted Tuker, who seemed unimpressed (to say the least) -- Peter (who owns half of Farrell at Primark -- me neither) offered at 25% -- Sarah offered at 25% with buy back to 15 per cent -- Deborah offered at 20 per cent -- Tuker offered at 40% with a warning it would need a lot of work -- Peter & Deborah shared at 12.5% each dropping down to 10% each -- there seemed to be some hostility from Deborah to Tuker

Paper folder-- unclear what the market is -- no offers

Shoulder straps -- I'd buy one -- http://i-stayput.com -- confusing numbers, especially with dad's existing company -- no offers

Pork scratchings -- too much chilli in the hot flavour? -- Sarah out because she doesn't like pork scratchings -- Deb out because they are unhealthy -- Tuker out because they are not halal -- Peter was concerned that if it took off then competitors would enter the market and ruin their margins -- Nick offered 20 per cent -- accepted with a buy-back clause

Good question. It is probably very useful for people who need to fold a lot of paper or card, but who are these people and are there enough of them? The trouble is that if you sell 10,000 finger-gadgets at £1 each, you've brought in £10,000 which is not going to keep anyone in caviar and champagne. However you cut play with the figures, it is hard to see it making enough profit to support a dragon as well as the inventor; it's just too cheap in a niche market (whatever that niche might be). The inventor needs to try and interest the big stationery retailers and there are not many of them: WHSmiths, Ryman, Staples, and the one with the stars. Basically, he needs to post half a dozen letters. It is a shame he was not on years ago as it would have been interesting to hear Theo's take on them.

No....East Asian....not sure I can say the country as I would then be more identify-able.

Did you meet your wife in this country or abroad?
