Whats is the best program to use to edit pdf files?

Adobe seem a little expensive as i only need occasional use.

Anyone use PDFescape?

I scan it , print it, rip up by hand , stick on A4, re-scan, print it

Try Foxit PDF Editor. It's free and very good.

Do you need to edit one or just create a pdf. You can edit any docment in say word and then print to a virtual PDF printer (free) and voila: PDF.

You could do that, Just Checking. But what would you do if you received a PDF file to amend? Why not simply edit/add/delete in one program? The PDF you get might also have formatting rules within it. Shifting it to Word and back again could be dicey.

Hardly free though is it mate. Free to download but not free to use.
