Sorry mate to sound dumb, we are not tech minded, where would I get a memory card.

Think you need a micro sd card. their is a cover on the side of the phone with a small hole in it, your phone comes with a tool to open it, but a paper clip will open it, see if their is a memory card in the slot first.

Been a while like I used a windows phone but if it's anything like android you have two types of phone memory, kind of apps and data, and if you've an additional card you can use that as well, mostly for data. Merely putting a card in won't solve it perhaps, you probably want to tell the apps to store "big" things to the card, and put music and maybe pictures to go there.
