BBC blaming Lloyds job losses on Brexit.

We lost to Pakistan in the first test because of Brexit.

I think we won the second test because of some fudge the BBC concocted....Joe Root's granny was German and Woakes is Polish for 'Brilliant' or something.

seems to me these banks bailed out by us the taxpayers are doing as much cutting as they can
whilst in public ownership to save shareholders the cost of redundancy and or miss selling
scandals

they can blame whoever they want, but they are rip off merchants


why dont lloyds customers move to a bank that does care ?

Sky correspondent just said most of the planned cuts wre arranged BEFORE the
referendum, so who is kidding who?

most of cuts were, but they have added 3000 more

how many more are planned longer term still not announced

but doubtless already planned

Brexit is a great opportunity for any company that has been looking for an excuse to lay people off.

Just helped my mum switch to this outfit after the local hsbc closed.

Nothing to do with internet banking and  making even more profit then.

doubled their profits - will this be caused by brexit then?  or by cutting jobs and branches thereby cutting costs err umm!!!

HSBC bank (drug cartel bank) said they'd leave Scotland if they
went independent. All jobs would go south.

I work for Lloyds.
Since the takeover / merger with Halifax there have been thousands of job cuts.
Some are understandable as are branch closures due to online banking etc.
Many support services have been shipped out to India though.
Big cost savings even though we've made £2.5 billion profit in six months.
Best bank for customers we are told by our Portuguese chief exec
