You kill a famous person and your sentence is a deep one.
If you kill a nobody, it seems you are out in half the time.

Chapman was sentenced to - twenty years to life.
since 2000, his first parole hearing, he gets a parole hearing every two years.
7 or 8 hearings. denied.

Hinckley got released (he did kill a guy slowly).

two crimes -  killing a man
and killing a famous man.
