Sorry Crisp but I'm going to be late as still trying to sort this thing out!
Thanks dave but there's still something wrong here. Why the fcuk do they have to mess up something that was fine before?

just checked again if you click attach "computer" comes up?
Presumably you clicked on "dropbox" in error and have got stuck in some sort of involvement with dropbox (whatever that is)?

I clicked computer, then using all the options as to where the file could be, the message "File not found" comes up.
The only way I can do it is to go "Windows Live Photo Gallery" and then"Snip" it and save to wherever I want it.
What is totally ridiculous is that, when I give it a title, I get the message that the file already exists, and do I want to change it!!!!
So if it already exists why wasn't it recognised before?
It is effing infuriating that, before this mess, it took just one click to do it!
No dave, I didn't do that!I clicked computer, then using all the options as to where the file could be, the message "File not found" comes up.The only way I can do it is to go "Windows Live Photo Gallery" and then"Snip" it and save to wherever I want
i once loaded drop box at someone's suggestion and it was a mistake.Took up a heck of a lot of file space and slowed my computer so then had to work out how to delete it.Avoid.

Where is the file? As I said when I click on "computer" it brings up explorer where I can access all folders. Do you have "All files" on the right hand side of explorer?

I can't click on a file until I click attach first and then click computer.
Now searching for the file it just isn't recognised! What the **** was wrong with how it was before?

click on the attachment icon/click on computer/go to the folder that contains the file/click on that file/click on open/avoid the onedrive option/the file gets attached
What fails in that process?

dave...thanks for your help but I guess you will be as fed and frustrated up as I am!
It doesn't matter wherever I save it....let's say in Documents....when I go to open it I get "File not found".
If I try to save it again, using the same file name, I get "That file already exists, do you want to change it"?
So, once again, if it exists why do I get "File not found"?
I'll have to wait till one of my talented "kids" can look at it for me.
Many thanks once more.....

So when you click attach, on the left hand side you choose 'Computer' and then select the file, can you actually select the file? And then choose 'Attach as Copy'? Is that when you get the message or don't you get that far?

It just needed .jpg adding to the file name. I don't recall having to do that before the downgrade, as I think the process was different. I think we were presented with a list, from which to select!

If you click on the icon at the foot of the email to attach a picture, it only brings up "image files". If you click on the icon at the top and follow the process I outlined, it brings up all files.
