i stayed a week in Arran.
Most boring place on the planet. one pool table at the docks pub. my brother got Scarlet Fever? from the Old House we rented. I thought that was a 19th century thing? (Little house on the Prairie?) maybe the came for the rave culture. |

Perhaps he should go back to Syria and face Assad's vengeful Shias? Of course it is different here, still learn English properly, then he can get job, and move somewhere better. The solution is to end this civil war in Syria not bring them here. Still if he don't want to blow us up like some others do  , we have to be thankful for that. |

The question must be asked, if he wants to surround himself with other Muslims, then why didn't he head off to other Muslim countries?
Especially as they are a lot closer to Syria than Scotland or Europe. |

If we save somebodies life, they cannot complain they have not been put in the best hotel. This man could get himself on the Internet, contact other Muslim's....not ISIS for God's Sake! It is up to him to make himself liked and valued. Yes he may have to cope with some racism, but that's life, racism is part of human beings. If he does not like it in Bute, go back to Turkey or Syria. Nobody will object. Plenty of Muslim's there! |

Rothesay is a wonderful place like aka and trilby both state. I don`t get it people slagging the place off. They either have never been there or it has changed dramatically in the past 20 years. In the 60s and 70s it was the no.1 holiday destination in Scotland. Hope the ungrateful person in question gets a house swap with someone from Gruinard.
