This sounds like a costly waste? one parcel per drone? Guy in a van has hundreds?

The Soviets have finished building an interceptor drone that seeks out amazon drones and
deploys a capture net over said drones. Stealing all the goods within. Crazy
got the idea from a 007 movie.

Can't really do that with the postman? or can you? Crazy

This balderdash is about as plausible as delivery drones being economically viable.

It's another thing for the younguns to destroy
future jobs by paying extra to have quick delivery
by air-mail

If you want to buy a drone from Amazon, would it be delivered by another drone? I can just imagine their tearful farewell on your front lawn as they have a kiss and a cuddle.

If you get the female one, you might wake up one morning a few months later and discover you now have a baby drone in the house. Or do drones have litters?

Another potty idea that should be binned. More jobs lost and more profit for the tax evading mob at Amazon. How long before a small child or animal is injured by one of the drones?

i like Ebay deliveries...

The long waits, suspecting the seller.
a week passes and you start to believe the seller
is at it.... another few days and your pretty sure
he's at it, you start to dream up revenge scenarios?
eventually you contact him and post a snarky email..

Dear seller231abbafan. I bought a smurf glass set from
you a fortnight ago and it hasn't arrived yet - I noticed
you are in Surrey, not China. Can you check you sent my parcel.

two minutes after you sent the email - the postman delivers the parcel.

why didn't i just wait.

They've had fantastic coverage over this nonsense.

I wonder how many drones would survive a visit to the likes of Drumchapel in Glasgow. Laugh
Report MC Roller • July 26, 2016 6:44 PM BST
No doubt the service will be for prime customers only, leaving the rest of us to be treated like the poor cattle in their warehouse.

I'm not a prime customer, so deliveries were slower than a rusty metal mickey bowling at the cricket ground practice nets. Prime day must be great, picking up all that utter shyte they can't get rid of, sorry, bargains.

do you get points for every drone you take out?
like the pokemon crap on everyone's phones.

It's such a bad idea. It just sounds bollox. Lets try to do this becuase we think we can, not because it's better.

akabula, you brought back memories when you mentioned Drumchapel.Love

I used to cycle there from the southside after work just to watch Coronation St with the love of my life. Then she left me for the guy upstairs when he got a moped.

Still, I got a laugh when I found out he had to get two of his family to help him get the thing up to their lobby every night. Drumchapel isn't the sort of place you can leave a moped on its own after dark. Grin

i made a short film called drumchapel as a joke.

I freeze framed the word Drumchapel at the start.

I had two videos linked and put the tape of a huge
machine gun fight where the police blast thousands
of bullets in where the gangsters are hiding out.
the buildings were in russia but looked a lot like
Drumchapel. All the gangsters died then it got silent.
I skipped to the end of the film where the star of
the film shouts out Nooooooo! then I typed THE END.

film lasted three minutes.
