I know its a heavy question,but you guys always come up trumps with an answer in the end ,so think about my question for a time.
IF the correct answer was posted I imagine the governments of this world would be fighting over you to sign a 100 million pound contract ,so take time and who knows perhaps there is another Albert Einstein waiting to be discovered on this forum.

ps what I mean by terraform is =to turn Venus into another planet earth.

So it has loads of trapped co2,but its nearly the same size as earth and it has an atmosphere.but to compound things the suns heat is trapped .so the first job would be to cool the planet down.
Now before you all think I am off my rocker I understand modern science has not got the answers yet but who knows what science will have discovered in the next 100,000 years. at the moment it a problem of global warming and science have already discovered how to get rid of the co2 that is causing the main problem.so cooling Venus down should not be a problem,and we could take the co2 to mars and build an atmosphere there. so if we fix one planet(Venus)we get one free (mars)  |

Magnesium would make quick work of the carbon and if we got enough when it busts up the carbon it would pump oxygen into the Venus atmosphere .but it would take at least 30 years.but that is exactly what the doctored.(oxygenizing the Venus atmosphere) .
And we would have to build a very large space station close to our sister to carry out operations. once we get the planet cooled we would have to plant millions and millions of trees to create oxygen atmosphere to suit humans. how we get water will be a problem,but mixing hydrogen and oxygen will survice if needs must but that is a long way off. the planet also rotates in different direction her brother and takes over 200 earth days for a full turn. but it is my belief that the weight of 4 billion years of carbon building up has slowed the planet down in its rotation. by the way I also believe that Venus was once like earth and had oceans and land just like earth. I think its time to help our twin sister and restore her to her beauty that she deserves. every night when I look at the brightest star in the sky I feel sad,and a message comes into my head saying"you and the betfair forumites can go down in history by saving Venus" |

why not just build a virtual reality room. load the Venus program and terraform the planet while screwing the cast to buck rogers. Less chance of dying in the vacuum of space. |
