Good post Alun but, what are your views on Anders Brevik, who murdered 69 innocent young people in Norway, many with head-shots?

Alun, is he a hero of yours ?
Wiki : Anders Behring Breivik (Norwegian pronunciation: [6] born 13 February 1979) is a Norwegian far-right terrorist who committed the 2011 Norway attacks. On 22 July 2011, he killed eight people by detonating a van bomb amid the Regjeringskvartalet in Oslo, then shot dead 69 participants of a Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp on the island of Utøya.In August 2012, he was convicted of mass murder, causing a fatal explosion, and terrorism. On the day of the attacks, Breivik electronically distributed a compendium of texts entitled 2083: A European Declaration of Independence, describing his militant ideology. In them, he lays out a worldview encompassing opposition to Islam and blames Feminism for creating a European "cultural suicide". The texts call Islam and "Cultural Marxism" the enemy, and advocates the deportation of all Muslims from Europe based on the model of the Beneš decrees, while also claiming that feminism exists to destroy European culture. Breivik wrote that his main motive for the atrocities was to market his manifesto |

Alan you must be a very happy man that after the string of home grown terror attacks, there are now some instances of refugee attacks. Have you broken out a bottle of bubbly to celebrate?

I do get the feeling some people check the news in the morning for some atrocity or other and then do a little fist pump.

The prison population of Syria pre trouble was 10k,its now less than 1k,the going rate for a syrian passport is now 2k.It is 1k in a number of african and middle east countries to buy out of prison with transpost to the med coast. In an afgan village the young who steal rape etc are banished i wonder where. To come to the uk and study english for 1 year with accommadation approx cost 7k legally ofcourse. The same person can sneak in for 1k and get it all for nothing, its all about money as usual,i could go on and on,and dont forget the people here who make a good living out of the whole rancid business

Breivik's actions were unspeakably bad. Hope that helps because some people here seem to be a bit confused about it.
What sort of lunatic could conceivably find comfort and enjoyment about the actions of Breivik and the carnage in Germany? |
|
By:
Brevik?
A white supremacist who.....went and killed a load of white kids. ISIS? Kill more Muslims (at a guess) than 'kuffir' Maybe they should swap sides |

The Breveic atrocity was five years ago, these attacks are current and on going.
Just be thankful that the gentlemen currently wrecking Germany no longer have the right to enter England. |

The question for Europeans is should millions of people , from parts of the world known to have a very high percentage of mental illness be allowed into Europe?
now we have all manner of people in Europe ourselves, who would deny that? but we do not have to account to anyone for our behaviour but ourselves. it is simply a case of good manners. do Europeans wish to have mass murderers imported from every barbaric and uncivilised region of the world? that is the question, of course we already have every type of rogue and rascal and violent person in Europe ourselves but that is not the point. no one has the right to presume on the good nature of Europeans. |
|
By:
i don`t believe that it is good to policy to say well we have a few lunatics ourselves already, perhaps we should import a few more.
|

The Brevik atrocity may not hae happened if he hadnt felt defenceless at the policy of enforced mass immigration delivered by Europe's political elite (??). Clearly deranged he reacted violently, but the liberals with blood on their hands should ask themselves if they have proceeded too fast with their desire for mass integration and cultural enrichment now that it is becoming the norm for one atrocity every day .
|
|
By:
I don't think Brevik can be defended myself treetop
I have never seen anyone do anything quite as evil as that man? Still if that is your opinion. Of course we need to stop Muslim immigration into Europe. They have been infiltrated or influenced by ISIS. They should not be biting the hand that feeds them! But I still feel we hold the majority responsibility here for stirring them up in the Middle East in the first place. We must now calm them down. ISIS must be destroyed The civil war in Syria must end. If we need to we work with Putin on this, do it, the cold war is over just my opinion, or this goes on. |

jesus treetop, I've seen some apologist drivel in my time but you take the prize.

Brevik cols bloodedly gunned down 69 young people on the island of Utoya
over a 2 hour period. They could not escape. This is real sadism, it is far worse than just denoting a bomb in my opinion. Brevik took joy in watching the fear and terror, of his victims as he killed them, they had no escape. They should never have taken him alive, he should not be alive now. ps pp He is mistaken treetop, he is not a bad bloke I cant see how anyone can apologise for Brevik |
|
By:
I am not using Brevik to justify Muslim attacks in Europe either...in case people think that.
Everything is bad here...no justification for anyone. |

Merkel should be tried for murder. She invited them all in and now they are doing whst they do best it's too late. If she hadn't "invited" them all in, think how many decent innocent people would still be alive. I see the BBC is trying hard to put the blame on mentally affected Asians!
Alun- it's alright for these pinko leftie Grauniad readers to make excuses, but it wan't their families that were murdered or blown to pieces by the Religion of Pieces! |
|
By:
part of the problem facing us in regard to immigration is the dishonesty of leftists, it is almost their defining characteristic.
Anyone in favour of immigration from these barbaric countries should be required to house them in their own homes. parents with families should, if they favour immigration in this wild manner, should have to house someone, not of their choice but at random. single people and the old and the young in favour of immigration on theis scale should be required, before they say that they welcome it, should also be required to house at least one, or more, in their homes. it is easy to be sanguine if there is little possibly that it will be yourself who is murdered or maimed, if it someone else`s teenage daughter or son. if something terrible happens, and the person that is housed kills complete strangers and not the people he lives with then those who gave him refuge should accept that they are also guilty and should be prepared to serve the sentence that courts in that country have for murder. Until this is the official policy, and those in favor of mass and unregulated immigration from the most savage and barbaric parts of the world accept it as so, then they should not be allowed to pretend they are in favor and pipe down. |

Except it almost certainly will have been. I don't think suicide bombers / truck drivers / mass-murdering gunmen ask whether their victims are 'progressive', liberal types. They appear not to even ask, in recent cases, whether or not they are Muslim. Everyone in range cops it |
|

The sad irony is that all what has now occurred was predicted at the time Merkel decided to open Germany's door to all and sundry.
Rational voices were drowned out by the easy cry of racism. It's unbelievable to think that the decision that Merkel took to open the doors, an act which will have ramifications in Germany for generations, was taken without the consent of the electorate. |

Mr Butler, if I was a betting man, I would bet that not one these human rights for the perpetrators type, Gruaniad reading people who are citing mental illnes, lost anyone in the recent attacks! But of course, I don't gambol!
Europe takes these people in, gives them homes, health services, benefits AND THIS IS HOW THEY ARE THANKED! This scum want to die; we rational people want them to die; so can't it be arranged to make both parties happy before any more innocents are murdered! |
|

By the way, in my home the Grauniad is already folded-just in case I run out of Andrex!

25 Jul 16 16:00 Mr Butler, if I was a betting man, I would bet that not one these human rights for the perpetrators type, Gruaniad reading people who are citing mental illnes, lost anyone in the recent attacks! But of course, I don't gambol! Really?? I'd say it was a certainty! Okay, strictly to the letter I doubt if there are many Guardian Readers in Germany. But given the majority of victims were young Europeans, I'd have said that's exactly the demographic that were there with the 'refugees welcome' placards out last year. However, don't for one moment think I'm disagreeing with your basic point. Let's say I'm right, then it beggars belief that 'progressive' types can't or won't see the folly of allowing refugees / migrants / criminals / terrorists (we're really going to have to come up with a good better collective noun) in. They really are living in that Egyptian River aren't they? |
|
By:
Just be thankful that the gentlemen currently wrecking Germany no longer have the right to enter England.
I think you will find they still do, old chap. |
|
By:
Have you been to Egypt recently? Nothing can live in that Egyptian river, even the fish! A suggestion for the collective noun that encompasses all of those- MUSLIMS!
|

Talking about England- UK Border control has not recruited for many years. Yet the influx of migrants, tourists and terrorists has risen exponentially. Good ole England! On the news this morning-at busy times the Border Control officer has as much as 5 seconds to decide whether to investigate an entrant. Talking about gut feeling. my gut feel queasy every time I hear something else like this. Thanks go to MI5 whose efforts have kept us in the UK reasonable safe, even though it is just a matter of time before one of these grateful Muslim migrants thanks us personally!

Mass immigration, uncontrolled, unregulated then throw in Schengen, Islam etc and you have carnage.
It was all so easily predictable. Sadly it brings out the worse in those on the extreme opposite of IS, namely that psycopath Brevik.... As for Merkel's Madness, it's time to admit some cultures are better than others. That's the total opposite of ALL liberal values but it needs to be said and fast. (Should have been said 50 years ago). Immigration on an indutrial scale presupposes we're all the same. That's the biggest pile of horseshoite I've ever heard. |

Cultural Relativism
Has it's basis in Britain having to apologise for everything it's ever done in its history, no matter we gave the world pretty much everything that's lead it out of throwing rocks at each other. Meanwhile FGM, Sharia Law, exploitation of immigrant workers on a quasi-slavery level and throwing homosexuals off tall buildings - well that's all oaky isn't it? |
|
By:
For ebul and porcupine, read my post again and you will see i said 'clearly deranged' , I would never suggest that was logical behaviour but a mentally hanidcapped man may well reason that way, hence my implication,no more but no less.

I agree entirely with Injera's sentiments, above. In my view the priority of any government, above all else, should be the protection and welfare of its own people. Merkel and Hollande have failed in this duty with catastrophic consequences, how they have the damned gall to remain in office is simply staggering.
Due to their misguided and dangerous policies, countries across Europe are now a powder keg waiting to explode; ordinary, decent folk can only take so much. |
|
By:
Great thread opener Alun especially and their staggering sense of entitlement.
No effort to integrate by some of these 'refugees'. |
|
By:
You better get used to all these attacks in Europe. With war comes war refugees.
USA and NATO have taken out Iraq and Syria. Apparently leaked documents claim next on the list are Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran. |

These do-gooders are not the 'progressives' they are the 'regressives'
Well meaning, naive, gullible, dope eek hunt regressives. Now they have blood on their hands. Send the feckers in to 'converse with the enemy' |

one simple measure that could be taken would be to require any future refugees, if Europe is going to take any refugees (the UK can of course now follow its own policy) but to require any new people coming to Europe from alien cultures to renounce their muslim faith.
of course this may not be acceptable to some, but nevertheless it would at least be a start along the right road. |
