Great tune by a great band. This is from wiki:
Debate raged across the Internet over whether the lyric said "dancer", "dancers" or "denser", a misunderstanding which elicited conflicting interpretations of the song's meaning. On the band's official website, the biography section states that Flowers is singing "Are we human, or are we dancer?" and also says that the lyric was inspired by a disparaging comment made by Hunter S. Thompson, who stated that America was "raising a generation of dancers". The way i have interrupted the song is that 'dancers' mean we all toe the line what the liberal elite tell us. We are all dancing to the same tune.
But honestly i think they wrote great lyrics and coundnt come up with something that rhymed. |

Diva I have both, and do listen to sams town, but I find it a bit bland comapred to hot fuss, a bit going through the motions.
I read some story about the sams town cover and it was a bit random, like she was just there in a studio and someonme said "wanna put a sash on and stand outside a caravan" or something :) |

I do like "when we were young" off it, it's a great song,I think the reason I donm't like it is it's trying to be like a concept album I think and fails? I don't mind concept albums if the work, but.. anyway thats my opinion :)
