So if a guy wins 20 quid every day between now and Christmas eve he could head out shopping with 3100 quid in his pocket on Christmas eve.
so the secret is to imagine yourself walking into the pub with a big fat wallet in your back pocket on Christmas eve.
Calling a pint and saying to yourself"i am glad brassneck reminded me on 22nd of july to start winning a score a day for Christmas"Laugh

I understand AKA,but just think of the fat wallet 3100 quid.A guy could have a good Christmas on it.
so the plan is to lodge 10 quid into a separate account and just target 20 profit a day.
you can carry on with your usual betting but a clever punter could have his Christmas account separate and with 155 days to get his 3 grand he would be in no hurry .
it Christmas account could be treated like rocket going to the moon, careful planning with no room for error.
remember from a little acorn a giant oak tree grows.
you know the score, racing certainties and hovering up 1.05 prices, slowly slowly the bucket fills with each drop of water.Laugh

Brassneck the only way I'd end up with 3k for Christmas is if I started with 6k. Sad
Report jollyswagman • July 22, 2016 11:08 PM BST
you do better than me aka, give me some tips please? Laugh

is it 155 gambling days to christmas or 155 days to christmas? it does make a difference Crazy
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 12:15 AM BST
155 total days.
here is how it works.
you start with 10 quid.
each day you have to win 20 quid.
so its very difficult for the first few days but as the bank gets bigger the tatget of 20 per day gets easier to win.
remember 3 grand would be nice on Christmas eve.
and you have the added bonus that once you make your 20 quid for the day the discipline is not needed because you stop as soon as you make your daily score.
you know if you use all the experience you have gambling on betfair it should be no problem to a seasoned pro like yourself.
so guys no ifs or buts just be careful and go make that Christmas 3.(grand)Grin
no rules except make sure you get winners.

Christmas Carol
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 12:31 AM BST
now I have made it all easier for you all.
if you can get 60 x 1/10 in the 155 days you will get your 3 grand.
so that's about one 1/10 every 3 days.but remember one loser and you get nothing so make sure you pick 1/10 winners.
if it goes pear shaped you lose a 10 quid .
so just turn 10 quid into 3 grand with sixty something  1/10 winners.Laugh
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 12:36 AM BST
60 days x 1/10=3044 quid starting with a 10 spot.
And 95 free days to write your Christmas shopping list.GrinGrinGrin
HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

Why have you mentioned 1.05 above? That is 1/20, isn't it?
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 12:45 AM BST
THATS the slow burner bet.120 days at 1/20.
but I surprised myself when I worked it out.
hard to belive that 60x 1/10 can get 3 grand for a tener.
I suppose a guy just might get lucky and win.
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 12:48 AM BST
and with 155 days to go a guy could back a 1/10 and then have two days restLaugh
but it might get a bit tough a few days before Christmas when you decide to put  2800 on celtic to beat motherwell at 1/10Cry

This is quite possibly your most ridiculous thread from the many to choose from Wink
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 1:01 AM BST
I think it could be a good fun bet,i will try it but I expect to lose my tener.
but if anyone wants to try it feel free to use this thread even it its only a pretend bet.
even all after timer posters are welcome .
but I intend to try it in a private capacity ,after all fortune favours the brave and all I need is one 1/10 winner  every 3 days from today until Christmas eve.Grin
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 1:05 AM BST
in fact I might try one for all the family.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
now I off to look for 60 consective football games with a goal to be scored at 1/10.
Report crags • July 23, 2016 1:06 AM BST
Good luck. Will you post all the bets on this thread please?
Report brassneck • July 23, 2016 1:15 AM BST
no crags, because I would  cheat and tell lies, but I will try it for a laugh on another site.
I have a tener in my paddy account .but  he prices 1/25 for goals to be scored, but I might get 1/10 in running.
I think it might be a good fun bet.
