As a kid I was dragged to Yarmouth a number of times.
The hotel we stayed at was owned by a relative of a family on our street. The waitresses used to tell me the knitted cozy egg warmer on my boiled egg was my special one, so I told my mother to put it in her bag to take home. I didnt know what everyone was laughing at but the waitress said we'd keep it here for you when you come again. I later realised the woman was lying and that egg warmer was anyones just like the woman herself |
