FGM in England

The cultural enhancement enthusiasts often go very quiet when this subject is brought up. Almost 6,000 cases reported in England for 2015/16. That is the number that is reported. Makes the mind boggle at the true number. Surprisingly this was even reported in the Guardian, though obviously comments won't be opened up.  An absolutely sickening statistic, but no doubt both main parties will be too scared to tackle the issue.
