I like to see the horses in the paddock. You see the horses profile. how it walks
maybe spot if there's a large horse that looks fit. Maybe spot that the favourite
has a bit of a limp - etc.
But ch4 don't want that, they would rather cut away and give you a profile piece
on one of the jockeys or trainers or go to Dubai or show some other puff piece.
before returning to the starting gate and two minutes before the off.

maybe they could have a separate program of puff pieces after the racing is over?
coz I want to see the racing. I want to see the horses, the going.
Not pundits with fancy computer screens that they're not sure how to use.
pointing at favourites and saying they will win before the race. Then when a 14/1
winner comes in first saying it was an obvious choice with hindsight?

cover the live coverage - live racing. that's what i want.

I detest persad/spencer talking to jocks straight after the race, what are they going to say thats of any use. Talk more about the form, the stable any future entries the horse might have, information that might be of use.

They're paid to talk races up before the off as betting pays their wages , annoys me when they say hmmm I wouldn't be lumping on at 6/4 when it's been hammered overnight from 5/2 , well did you back it at 5/2 ....

Not a mention of 5/2 but after it Romps home .. yes 6/4 was probably a nice touch for Fav backers Plain

Love watching Emma jiggling around after the race , even more so when Frankie's trotting just the slightest bit too fast for her while talking Grin
