what's the point of elections if people
don't stand by the result? |

Elections will be a thing of past very soon, brexit and its outcome is probably the decider.....

This Owen Smith gadjie that's standing for the Labour Leadership wants 'Referendum 2: The Sequel' "just to make sure we're getting it right and it's what we really want".
Pull that stunt and you will get a backlash the like of which you never did see. Truly, it will be 'what is my vote actually worth and do I actually matter a brass shiny sh1te?' Me? I'll become a survivalist, buy a gun, some bottled water and tinned food, move to backwoods Montana, pull up the drawbridge and take my chances, Trump or no Trump - because everything I ever believed about democracy and engaging with the democratic process will have been one big lie. |

People power rules as in Turkey.
If parties split then they weaken. C'est la vie. |

**** it id never vote again if they pulled a fast one like that,
anyway luckily jc is a cert to win imo |

Democracy is ruled by big companies, the rich and the voters who watch tv.
I want to live in a country where the government invest and buy up companies to make us all rich, a bit like germany before they decided cheap uneducated labour with baggage was a good idea. |

wasn't thinking of going rambo?
was gonna stop voting. maybe the people who don't vote should rule. because they are wise to the bull meisters. every word seems like a shiny turd. All the money is allocated already - these guys are just posing for cleavage shots. Trident will happen. the rich will get all the money, eventually. they'll kill off half the population with vaccines and promises. just in time for the meteor. |

Labour will split. Irreconcilable differences.
|

Perhaps a split and new names is the only short term way of eradicating the stench of Blair.
They need better leaders than the ones they are proposing. |

Corbyn is an idealist and his heart seems in the right place but unfortunately he's just not very good at this thing, has proposed nothing whatsoever as an alternative to govt policy and has lost all confidence his party had in him.
Fortunately for him, Eagle's an even bigger buffoon. A back bencher, no more and no less. Smith may be better but surely their vote is going to be cannibalised and split. |
|
By:
Corbyn has absolutely no leadership skills and that's the problem.
|
|
By:
voting for Eagle is even more comical than voting for Corbyn.

After her displays during the referendum debates I thought she'd slip into obscurity.

Hilary Benn is supporting her bid

peoples opinions change
a vote is a snapshot of the time if folk disagree with a result they dont have to conform tories won last election that doesnt mean we all have to be tories for 5 years |

They keep saying he has no leadership skills.
Is he to put them through boot camp? make them do things like run down to the corner shop. They are not in power? Should he boss them around - shout orders? what bullshit makes you a good leader? Of course - the hand signals. press the flesh. Horned hands like obama and hilary. more ceremonies. hire some weirdos that get arrested twenty years later. |
