fecking idiots who are probably thinking of £ signs as they think they can sell their coverage to the media

surely any reasonable person would try to help; even if it is to hold someones hand

In recent years we've had people in the UK standing below poor b*ggers thinking of suicide, filming then with camera phones shouting "jump jump". I often wonder what sort of people there are around.

There seems to be a sort of mass narcissism amongst a certain generation. People who get genuinely stressed if they can't check their social media profile for a couple hours, or don't get enough "likes" or "friends". I don't think it's healthy.

A friend of mine showed me some links to career youtubers who make absolutely insane money getting followers while churning out absolutely nothing of substance.
They are rewarded by advertising revenues on click basis and some of the top paid ones have accumulated extreme wealth and aged very young.

People see (and 'follow') this behaviour of getting reward for nothing and see it as a viable future.
Its the continued dumbing down of society and its funded by marketing departments.

I honestly don't know why they do it. I avoid any kind of video like that - it's bad enough reading about some events Sad

I was surprised to read about the woman who got parted from her 8-month-old son in the carnage, so she went home and asked about him on facebook. It turned out that a young woman had come across the sprog in the road and had taken him to her place. Naturally, she went on facebook to update her followers and mother and son were reunited. No mention of contacting hospitals or police.

Some american model was in the news this week for taking a photo of a fat middle aged woman in the shower at a gym and posting it on the net to mock her. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, what was she thinking. If a man did that he'd be in prison. She should be charged for that, gross invasion of privacy.

they either wanna be the guy who put it on social media to get the rep, or they genuinely want to share something they are witnessing however disgusting it is. it's not nice to see but then again you can't just turn a blind eye to these things. it's better the more people see it because then it's real not just a news item of a number dead.
