I used to own a Bagheera, that was quite quirky. Left hooker with a bench seat so low it was almost like lying down when driving.

Considering what Volvo were producing all those years ago, the P1800 was sensational, and still looks good today!
My "quirky" one was a Ginetta G15 in 1970. Rear engined with (in my case) a 998cc Rallye Imp engine at the rear. Very quick, as very lightweight, but not ultimately fast. Rock hard suspension and, incredibly, cross ply tyres! The handling and road holding were astonishing, but it regularly overheated, and had the head skimmed three times. Each time put the compression even higher so progressively worse. When it rained the door bins filled with water, so I had to drill holes to let it out. Why I didn't just get an Elan I will never know!! |

The VW dealers who supplied and maintained my two Sciroccos had a "Caddy".
Custom paint job, oversize alloys, lamp bars and spots over the cabin, and an incredible sound system. |

Googled that ginettta.
A really nice looking car. I fancy something a bit different. A bit if fun at the weekend. |

Don't know if it was quirky enough, but my first car was a Hillman Imp Californian. Great throaty roar to it. Unfortunately smashed it up after skidding on ice after a few beers.

Sciroccos were! My girlfriend had one and let use it when she got a company car.
