he was mayor of london, a job which has one important area of responsibility, transport. he took little interest apart from foisting vanity projects on us which has resulted in london becoming the slowest and most polluted city in europe. he has wasted billions of money, not widely reported in the press but true none the less. he's an incompetent fool.

I'm not sure how good or bad he'll be but I don't think he's the fool you are making him out to be.
Obviously May sees something in him so we'll have to trust her judgement.

at least gove takes a deep interest in whatever job he is given. he and may had a big and public row a couple of years ago which may explain why gove hasnt been seen at number 10.
