How much do you reckon would be the the maximum day rate for a qualified, experienced Gas Safe heating engineer involved in replacing an old boiler with a new one?

Day rate not for the job.

Not possible to quote a maximum day rate!

If it's an elderly person, living alone, it could well be £1,000 plus!

OK, so if I supplied a boiler and all other materials and got a heating engineer to fit the boiler and gave him a generous 2 days to fit it, how much?

£500 should do it.

A lot will depend on which part of the country you're in obviously.
