Not sure what point you are trying to make CLYDEBANK.
In your scenario innocent people died because of the actions of others.
In this scenario the people who died were active in animal cruelty and were killed by those same animals.

I much prefer the "running after the sheep" festival they have in North Wales adn Aberdeen.

I don't eat meat or indulge in leather goods but I realise that they are both a big part of modern day life.
However it shouldn't stop us from asking for animals to have a decent life and treated humanely at all times.
In the case of bullfighting and bull runs I genuinely couldn't give a feck how many humans are killed.

In a world where everything must be labelled right or wrong, one of the few things that is black and white is that there is no god.  Now that is hypocrisy on the grandest scale.

There is a big difference between killing animals to eat and survive and killing them for so called "fun".

The big question is, If there is a God, what kind of God would create a scenario where creatures, animal or human or whatever, would have to kill and eat each other in order to survive?? Surely, God could have come up with a better blueprint?

Bullfighting is part of the history and culture of Spain.  Imo it's up to the Spanish what they do.  I think caging hens in awful conditions to shave a few percent off your margins is far worse.

If a jockey was klled in the GN, a race in which at least one horse dies on average every year for fun what then?  Does the horse get eaten like I presume the bull does, or does an innocent horse needlessly get eaten instead?

They don`t races horses in the National with the direct intention of killing them, that`s the BIG difference. The object of Bullfighting is to torture and kill a magnificent creature in the disguise of "sport" or "culture".

In the animal kingdom, in most species there are natural fights for supremacy.  As humans, we still have this primal instinct.  Should we fight against it and ban anything that resembles it?

Bullfighting is an unfair fight. If they want to fight Bulls, let them enter the bullring, like the Bull, without weapons and we`ll see who wins.

The Bull defends himself and the only way he can get out alive is the kill the MATADOR.

The Bull is also tortured and weakened before he meets the Matador by Picadors on horses with Varas(lances).

Italy is a much better med country than spain.
Better history, language, food, culture, no bullfighting. Very easy to be a vegey there if you wanted.

In the old days they used to have a thing a bit LIKE bullfighting but when I turned up at the colloseum to see some christians fighting Lions, they said they'd stopped it. Damned political correctness gone mad if you ask me.
