The pound was overvalued - and was last at this level in 2013. Don't recall much whining then. The average WTO tariff the EU can apply is around 3-4%, the devaluation of the pound means we are in positive territory already. Since the EU exports around £100 billion more to us than we to them, we have the whip hand in any negotiation. When did we, as a nation, favour learned helplessness?
Why do young people crave action/excitement? Things generally happen slowly. When stukas/panzers are demolishing your neighbourhood, then you know there's a problem. Otherwise little changes. |

We are not leaving Europe, we have never been more European. We are leaving The EU, a massively corrupt, overpaid, inefficient bureaucracy that has shafted the Mediterranean countries, bought us close to war in the Ukraine and failed to handle the largest mass migration in recent history. Hopefully something better will emerge. It couldn't be worse.
I'm still getting my mind round we have 10,000 Gambians in Birmingham (officially - you can bet it's more) - mostly with Spanish passports (just guessing, money changed hands). WTF? |

£350 million - utterly meaningless. We spend £12 billion on overseas aid - probably mostly to the educated middle-class parasites who run the system. Cut that for a start. Osborne borrows £1 1/2 billion a week. Someone needs to cut up the National credit card. We're debt addicts - average household owes well over £50,000? I remember when a million was a meaningful amount to a politician.
The NHS is a money pit/Ponzi scheme - you have a population that overeats/under-exercises/drinks to oblivion (hi!) - we could spend every damn penny on the NHS and get little further. Froth! |

Truth is i'm sick to fcuking Death of this country whether we Leave or Not .. the damage is already done in most parts .. i went for a scan at a Hospital recently .. waiting room full of immigrants & quite sure the Nurses were too .. 10,000 Gambians in Birmingham .. every immigrant flocks here as it's miles cheaper than London & the rest of the crew are already here ! Makes me sick that i have to gamble 24/7 for a Living when i take a look at what's around me  |

NHS money would be better spent on prevention.
free passes to sports centres. swimming etc. i pay £9 a month. can go swimming 24 hours a day, every day. awesome. nobody is advertising this? Eat fish (like andy murray) instead of meat - no fat... almost. the fats that are there - healthy omega fats. lack of education. some stuff on NHS is just mental. cosmetic surgery for people who don't feel right? (go private you tits) expensive medicines that have dubious outcomes? (go private you tits) everything solved by swallowing pills, instead of attacking the cause? mental. |

oh no - old creeky man - but very optimistic -
once saw a large cat in a wood while walking my dog - remembered they go for your throat. covered my throat with my hand. looked around for something to hit it with - but it saw me and ran off. a lot of collectors of wild animals i've heard sometimes let their animals loose rather than putting them down. i think they must die off from lack of food. not geared up to living in the wild. |

Not really optimistic - thought you'd be eaten early on but tried to encourage - rah, rah!. You could survive for a while by by hiding well. The end is always the same.
