Well you probably DO eat dogs in Australia, Joel. The second most cruel country to animals after Japan, surprisingly. No offence.

I visited an urban farm in Kirkby about 2 weeks ago.I was actually quite upset to see all the animals there but I was especially moved by the sight and the sounds that the pigs made to me as I stood very close to them in their pen.They made a crying,pleading sound.As I left the farm to cycle home I made a pledge to myself to stop eating meat,not an easy pledge to carry out because I've always loved eating a nice bit of meat,roast dinners,etc but I'm glad to say that I've stuck by my pledge and I now plan on never eating meat again.

Well according to this site it is, Joel, and I don't see why they should lie.
Although Australia is considered a normal country, treating animals in the right way is rare.Slaughterhouses are known for large scale killing of large animals such as bulls and cattle, by punching and kicking them till they die!
