Surely Death Insurance would be a more honest description.
I looked at them a few years back and concluded that if one lives a normal lifespan you can end up paying in more than your beneficiaries eventually receive. If you want to leave something for the kids buy a house. if you can't afford a house then make regular payments into a saving scheme such as an ISA. Ideally do both. IMO. |

Always thought Parkinson was a creepy ar$e licker especially his love fest with Billy Connolly and other high profile 'stars'.One of his most cringe worthy moments was when interviewing Rod Stieger for the Granada TV programme, Cinema. He told Stieger that he thought he was the the greatest living actor, pampering to an already over inflated ego.
