If he hasn't been nabbed by the Indian cartel i will be  flabbergasted! He gave the ball away 2385 times.

I have watched him since he was 12 or 13 and he was better then than that tonight. I'm actually shocked and watched that in disbelief. His worst game ever in any shirt by a gazillion miles..

It's not just that, Vel. He gave the ball to the oppo from 5 yards, there wasn't 40 yd glory balls. He was either píssed or he's been got at..

He's neveer really performed in a major tournament. That's why he's no great despite the ridiculous number of caps he's bagged.

no longer the young one. In Greyhound parlance they fed him a sausage before the race.

I tend to think he gets a lot of undeserved sh*t a lot of the time but tonight he was woeful.

I was surprised Lallana was left out, he'd been excellent.

Yeah. He nips about a bit too Kenny, whereas those on the pitch mostly trudged around.

Never mind PTC,  WC in 2 years. We'll do well in that.

Yeah, we'll let Germany, Belgium and France knacker themselves out trying to win this little cup, then whack 'em in Russia with all our extra oomph. They won't know what's him them.

I'm one of Barcleys fiercest critics, but he would have run at Iceland last night for 20 minutes (that's all he can manage) and they would have chit themselves. He can be a game changer. As can the young kid Rashford.. A totally baffling team selection from Hodgson (ex rednosed twát) Btw; did anyone notice a rather strange division in the Engerland ranks during training and when they arrive or depart together?

Hodgson was useless. Presumably his justification for resting players against Slovakia was to ensure a good performance last night. And yeah, we clearly needed to bring on a few players with some energy on 45 or 60 minutes at the latest.

How can we have done so much worse than in the qualifying? Against Switzerland, Slovenia, Lithuania, Estonia and San Marino we won ten out of ten, scored 31 and conceded 3. Are Russia, Wales, Slovakia and Iceland that much harder?

Rooney played no worst than the rest of the team..in my opinion

Hodgson has failed, but he tried. One problem I thought he had was he picked very attacking teams, but we never scored the goals to justify this.

In the past we have done better with a strong defence and hard running midfield, with a couple of strikers trying snatch us a goal.

Neither is he the only manager to have failed us either.

Hart?..I give up...He is a good goalkeeper but occasionally he makes mistakes. I think we should have chosen someone more consistent myself.

It is all easy in hindsight.
