they wont back down on trade deals and free movement and the new pm will need to get something to appease the majority leave vote.

its a war between germanys product trade...8% of their trade is done with us.

to our service sector trade with the eu...havent looked that up but i know its showing a surplus. compared to a deficit on our good traded.

think the germans will take the small hit knowing we will take a more painful hit.

Why would Germany take the hit? They export nearly 90bn worth of goods to the UK only behind the US (110) and France (100). 20% of all cars produced in Germany are sold to the UK. The UK is in a far stronger position with negotiating a good deal than people realise. Both countries would happily keep the status quo as such and any deals will reflect that.
