They've already ruined the youth, with the female pension age not being raised in line with men ages ago, and they are paying through it in exorbitant tuition fees. Not to mention the oldies have benefitted from high house inflation to the young's demise. In 4 years time the majority of living people in this country will have voted to remain, and have to pay for the folly of the self indulgent xenophobic pensioners.

I didn't use the term racist. Not all people who voted to leave are xenophobic, but the older you are, the greater the chance you are, as the referendum result shows.

I hope I'm wrong obviously, but if this decision does end up costing us in terms of our nations prosperity, pensioners should bear the brunt of the cost.

What did the youth vote for in 1975? Those who voted out have been in against their will for 40+ years and those that voted in did n't get what they signed up for.

Brexit voters rely on state pensions and/or have had to use their pensions to buy annuities. Only wealthy pensioners with private portfolios are affected short term by the stock market dip. It's future pensioners, not current ones who lose out on the pension front, unless you worked for British Steel, then it's both.

Of course every one will have to pay short term an extra 10% for any goods imported from overseas, so those on a budget and suffering will suffer even more.

If remain had won there would be a mass outpouring of love and euro flag waving. Its such a demographically split vote. The leave winners are just getting on with life while the remain losers are in a big huff

The point is that the older voters have experienced decades of spin and bulls!t and, finally have had the opportunity to tell the establishment 'none of the above'.
With regard to celebrations, the winning demographic is trying to organise a great big massive party somewhere in middle England.
Embracing social media, Brenda Tomkins (68) of Crewe is trying hard to set up a Twitter page on her Nokia as we speak.
Dennis Powell, (62) has spent most of this morning trying to find his log in details for Friends Reunited.
And, Ada Rushwick (85) has invited her neighbour, Maureen round for a cup of tea.
