ONS puts the last 5 years population increase down to immigration(cant vote)and higher birth rate cant vote also.Should not the amount of voters gone down? or maybe ive drank to much chablis

Lots of people dropped off the electoral rolls at the time of the poll tax, and the switch to individual registration will have knocked more off.
Ironically, it is the excluded mainly Labour voters, who Remain and the government have been desperate to get back on the register.
