I really feel like going out and waving a big flag that says "I'm straight!"

Firstly, there's nothing wrong with gay people and I believe that most people don't have a problem with them including me.

I can understand why some gay people have a phobia, but we've ALL got phobias haven't we. I've got loads that really get me down, but nobody cares! I have to get on with life.

I fear that more and more gay people are gonna start holding hands/kissing etc. on the street as a way of saying "Hey we're normal just like straight people"

We are slowly getting brainwashed! In years to come, we'll think we're abnormal cos we're straight. Then we'll have to have a massive "Straight" parade.

FFS!!!

are you for real? If a small 5-10% (it'll most likely be less because not every gay person will be doing it) of the population start holding hands and kissing, you know, start enjoying their freedom and human rights, you'll start thinking you're abnormal?

let it pass and ignore it is the best way, the more you push against it the more it will get rammed down your throat

Maybe you should be made to feel abnormal though. Might give you empathy and understanding

i don't like seeing public affection on the street gay or otherwise Cry

ALL public snoggers are no-life spakkers.

I have a wife - but I don't have the rank insecurity that manifests itself in me having to eat her face in public so I can prove to everyone that there's a woman alive who will let me touch her without calling the police.

Although I am rather pleased about that fact.

Everytime I see that there's a guy pride march on it always sets me off, which is exactly how this started.

Due to my post I've never stopped thinking about it.

I am definitely NOT homophobic and have had several gay friends over the years.

I get angry at the way things have become. All this political correctness drives me MAD!

A few years ago if I'd have seen gays holding hands etc. it wouldn't have bothered me, BUT now I think it's cos the doors have been opened for them to do it.

Right I'm off to fukc a chicken now...

Went to Tunisia in the 80s and it was stressed to us not to offend the locals with our appearance,or behaviour, the women had to keep pretty much covered up.

The first thing we saw when we got out of a taxi was two guys sprawled across a car snogging, and guys walking round holding hands.

Had never seen it in this country and it came as a huge shock to witness this in a Muslim country, and not something I really want to see again

Gay people were put in jail in the UK well into the 60s and even today there's still plenty of discrimination going on (as shown by this thread), making further fighting for equal rights necessary.

The same is not true for TEAMSTRAIGHT. Or do you feel discriminated against as a straight male? I don't.

What's bothering people regarding homosexuality anyway? If two adult males, or two adult women, love each other (and hump like two wild buffaloes) that hurts absolutely no-one. Likening it to someone raping animals is ridiculous.
