ironicly the English (Germanic vote out) the welsh and Scotish (Brits) vote remain?

maybe the English knew how sh1ght the EU was and fled mainland Europe to seek sanctuary here over 1000 years ago ha ha

Wales will vote remain- they get lots of something for nothing from Europe in benefits for them being s poor/ lazy - and they get funds to pay for Welsh signwriting

That's an SNP bull lie. Everyone I know is voting out. scottie

We all come out, or we all stay in

There would be little point in voting to stay in the EU if we split the UK upCrazy

Wales will vote out.. almost everyone I know is voting to leave.
70% of 1063 votes in local paper here are to 'leave'

Whether you vote in or out don't you think it is outrageous that it has taken this long to have a referendum on the matter?
Report Ron-Russian June 19, 2016 11:10 PM BST
Good idea this splitting up thinking - Luton/Bradford etc could stay in the eu.

Let the good people of this once great country know where it's safe to live & we
can start heading there! Laugh

Out we might have a slim chance - that's why i reckon that murder got zero to
do with this as the nutter realizes the countries f***ed.

In - We're f***ed, may as well start sorting out somewhere to live abroad unless
you want to live under Sharia.

Birmingham - Tower Hamlets - Newham
Leicester - Redbridge - Bradford.

all have more Muslim children living in the borough than Christian.

Make of that what you like, but with the trash coming in you've not got to be a
rocket scientist to work out this is going to be a very **** place to live in
the very near future

Yes...I think we should have had it in 2001...there would be 5 million now less in this country...if we ever hope to control

immigration vote leave now...or forever hold our peace

Romanians are very faithful Christians, the most faithful Christians in all of Europe in fact. Hence the solution to muslims taking over (through the already existing pakistani and whatnot muslims breeding) is staying in the EU and inviting Romanians into the country like no-one has done before.

Easy

Report aaronh June 20, 2016 12:49 AM BST
that's a great idea edy

The Romanians come to avail of all the free metal and largesse from banks.

The Roma have decided South Yorkshire is their new homeland, they are mainly Muslim.
Report edy June 20, 2016 1:09 AM BST
You're lucky, the vast majority of Romanian Roma are Christian

According to the 2002 census, 81.9% of Roma are Orthodox Christians, 6.4% Pentecostals, 3.8% Roman Catholics, 3% Reformed, 1.1% Greek Catholics, 0.9% Baptists, 0.8% Seventh-Day Adventists, while the rest belong to other religions such as (Islam and Lutheranism).[12]

A simple additional question on the polling papers at each general election, surely?
Report rogerthebutler June 20, 2016 2:48 PM BST
There is no country called Scotland or Wales under International Law

Scotland delivered a mandate - albeit by a slim margin - to remain a part of the United Kingdom in a referendum two years ago and are therefore bound by the decision of the United Kingdom, whatever that might be.

Furthermore, how can the SNP reject Westminster yet favour Brussels / Strasbourg?

Doesn't sound much like Independence to me - sounds a bit like anti-English xenophobia?

Not from a 'Progressive' such as Nicola Sturgeon, surely!!?
Report N-east Correspondent June 20, 2016 3:37 PM BST
Plenty of people would'nt say they were voting no in scottish referendum for fear of being subjected to abuse or worse - was easier saying i'm voting yes or still undecided then stick a x in the no box come the day. In the end was a fairly comfortable no vote its heading the same way in eu referendum the silent majority are still to be heard, entirely possible something could happen in next few days that will swing vote but it would have to be fairly monumental given market indicators.
Report Jack Hacksaw June 20, 2016 3:59 PM BST
The SNP stance is ironic, particularly as, while they are part of the UK they appear to benefit from voting privileges that a UK in Europe could only dream of.

Imagine the UK making its own domestic laws, free of European involvement, whilst still being able to vote on issues relating to the rest of Europe.
