women prefer well built men on average given a choice i'm guessing

I think many women prefer a big bank balance to big biceps so don't think that's the whole story.
Did you find anything in the bible Zoz? That Goliath was a big lad as was Samson. |

I think a high percentage of these body builder types go for the boys, rather than women.

Seems to me that you take steroids to help you get the type of body that women are supposed to really go for, but the steroids shrink your c0ck so when you finally pull that woman you're trying to pleasure her with something the size of an acorn.

there is also an 'ideal' shape for women of course ,but they have to do different excercises - doesn't stop some doing the weights though

people who lift weights at health clubs - why?
Well maybe one of the alternatives - being a generic corpulent slob, sliding into middle age, turning into an excuse machine - doesn't appeal too much? |

i dont get the wightlifting thing.......once u start u have to keep doing it everyday......otherwise it all goes fatty...........they all end up having breast reduction surgery
|
|
By:
That is true bdj...however if one uses targeted weight training just to keep ourselves in shape, not for body building
it can be effective |
|
By:
It's not true at all.
Fat is fat and muscle is muscle. Muscle doesn't 'turn to fat' at all. Leaving aside the question of why should you just stop weight training for no apparent reason, if you reduce your calorie intake, particularly carbohydrates (sugars in particular) you will reduce size but should remain at the same percentage body fat. |

ok roger...I was trying to defend weight training

Lifting weights is said to raise the metabolism rate
Muscle is more metabolically active than fat, and building muscle can help increase your metabolism. This means you will burn more calories each day, even at rest. Lifting weights will also help you retain muscle and combat the drop in metabolism that can occur during weight loss. https://authoritynutrition.com/10-ways-to-boost-metabolism/ |
