Learned a trick years ago to stem the blood. Don't know if my fix has any validity in science but it makes sense to me.

blood pumping out - so i smear toothpaste (anti bacterial?) cover it with toilet tissue and wrap sellotape round it.

within minutes the blood stops - handy when you don't stock a medical kit.

Honey is a superb anti-bacterial, so long as you can avoid the ants.  Tooth paste is ****witland, surely?  Good tape stops blood loss - then A&E (hope you are a tax-payer).  There but for the grace of thingee go I.

not bad enuff fur that - went to A/E six months ago with i thought a broken hand after a fall on ice.
Doctor wouldn't even xray it? still hear a crackin noise from it? Just old I guess.

My GP said - we don't like to use xrays if we feel it's unnecessary.( my old GP used to send me for xrays same day twenty years ago?)

i go to the dentist, every year they xray my teeth? (did they not get the memo).

trouble with superglue - you go to use it and it's all dried up? even when it's new sometimes?
