10 Jun 2016 — A great news to share. On June 10, Duo Duo Project's Chinese partners along with many local supporters went to the Yulin Representative Office in Beijing and submitted over 11 million signatures. Thanks to you, we contributed a significant portion. We believe that our efforts to help generate domestic and international condemnation are working. In the past, officials have not even accepted or acknowledged formal denunciations. We are proud that you are a champion of this great effort. We feel that this is the beginning of the end for this heinous practice. Only joking, I signed this petition and convinced a couple of dozen other people to do likewise. A tv news article about this was one of the worst and most affecting things I've ever seen. Truly appalling abuse. |
