somebody will die every three seconds by the year 2050. it''s been estimated. (antibiotics resistance).

That's a bizarre statement to make. BBC NEWS. Up yer own .... - that's what i'm thinking.

So far by 2050 - we all are super F.....D in every single sense. The planet is super heated and looks like the planet mercury.

my prediction for the future is look 35 years to the past.. 1980. Now look at today? what's changed? Well thatchers dead? it's all good. But basically everything is pretty much the same. Except the space race has ended. So in 2050 it'll still be boring.

the year is 2050 and King Malcolm of the Holy Empire of Fear and Loathing in las Vegas. Is upset, the BBC has pushed the license fee up again to £2,567 their budget is now half of earth's total expenditure. All mankind sits in front of the tv eating Cheetos with vitamins added. The talk thru apple viz tv. Pay by Apple implant and jerk off to apple xxx retinal. Life is good in 2050.

That is referring to super bugs, who may well be totally immune to anti biotics by 2050, resulting in somebody dying every three seconds.

about 10 million a year. When using anti biotics all bugs must be killed, because any surviving bugs may have some resistance to the

anti biotic, which will be reproduced in their off spring.

Waste of time trying to stop smoking, since we will all die from bacterial infections anyway by 2050.

We have to die from something, we are turning into a society of women and woopsiesSad

anybody noticed that since the big Pharma companies have come along CURES are on the back burner. Management of symptoms have taken over.

One of my heroes Dr Ehrlich (film available with E.G.Robinson) postulated that a 'magic bullet' was out there for every disease. He Cured Syphilis by observing that arsenic killed the bugs but also the patient. He rigorously went through over 600 combinations to get a mix that would not kill the patient. (they now use antibiotics for syphilis)
THAT was ONE man and a lab under financial pressure. One man with an idea.

Big Pharma companies swallow anyone with potential and put them to work on a new paracetamol.

If there's no profit they don't want a cure.

You are right. It would cost them a fortune.

They actually have a cure for cancer but it's top secret and only available to the elite of society.

Steve Jobs not rich enough? rich enough for a head transplant if he wanted it bad enough.

there should be a 1000 small labs instead of one big lab. protected from takeovers.
