I'm not into football, so I may have missed something, but Middlesborough get promoted because of a goal difference of 2 more than Brighton over 46 games. Yet Brighton have 15 more points, (5 more games won in a season) and a goal difference of 9 over Sheffield Wednesday and they don't go up but Sheffield now have a 50% chance of going up?

It makes no logical sense as the best 3 teams should go up, but it adds more drama which is what football is all about.
