Just watched episode 1 and very underwhelmed.
Within an hour Ciros decided he need more cash so flawlessly robbed a security vehicle killing all the staff. Got someone to be the fall guy for gennaros shooting despite it occurring in a packed room. Then to finish it off he strangle his wife after a tiff.

Never see any police when they are shooting each other, nor do they ever seem to be investigating |

The film "Gomorrah" which is based on the same book as the series is being shown next Friday on the Viceland channel (which I believe is only available on Sky/Now TV and not Virgin but I could be wrong). Excellent news. Perfect timing too as Spiral on BBC4 will have just about finished by then. Can I also recommend a film called Suburra by the director of Gomorrah which is very good indeed.

dont think been made but can easily see that happening. apparently in italy gomorrah ( s3 ) was getting higher viewing figures than game of thrones.

not seen the killing, been told true detective is good.
would have those 3 and sopranos, not sure which order, wire is let down by final series, bb was a bit slow at times, sopranos dragged on a bit but that's me just nit-picking. . |

Watched all 12 episodes over the last 3 evenings. Thought it started a bit slow and found some of the newer characters a little underwhelming but my word it built up to be an absolute belter of a series and the last episode is exceptional.

Series 4 listed as starting on 19th June - Sky Atlantic.
