Went out very briefly with a girl called Lisa 20 years ago. By the time I'd worked out the chords to Lisa Says, she'd long moved on. Annoying when you think how simple most of the bloody Velvet's songs are. |

If I could meet a man who I felt about like that then life would be fantastic. But I am happy as I am, as well. One of the most beautiful songs written about true love. Penned by John for Annie who became his wife. Sadly they divorced, which shows how awful it is when the magic goes. This song was played at my Mother's funeral ( her name was Annie).I'd managed to held it to together throughout the whole thing ,, until this was played as the coffin left the church. I wept uncontrollably. |
