My theory is.. my life might be utter ballz but at least it's not as bad as the people in Albert Square. All that depressing machination. Murder. Thieving and violence mingled in with Cafe food and launderettes.

The BBC always providing high culture.

I don't watch Eastenders as I don't think it adequately represents the diversity and vibrancy of modern East London.

Most depressing TV show in TV history, full of shouty, mouthy characters and poor actors who look depressed having to act out these depressing storylines, when people finish watching they usually feel drained and down and then on edge, not exactly uplifting stuff.

Very outdated nowadays and most of them really are limping towards a slow death, from 15-20 million viewers a week to less than 5 mil, and that's for the big ones, soaps like neighbours even in Australia I believe has been shafted to a satellite channel, I think if in this day and age if you still watch soaps you're either female, gay or extremely bored. At least that's the impression I get from people who have mentioned them and people who review them on TV.

I honestly believe that Eastenders and Corry were the cause of me splitting with my missus. Coming home from work and having to sit through that fuc5ing drivel on a nightly basis is enough to send any man round the twist.
