Agreed Big H, I would never go back to a manual box. Automatics are miles better in urban traffic.
Fine if people want to buy manual cars and as Dr Crippen would say, they are plenty good enough for the lower orders.

Modern dual clutch gearboxes are very smooth Grant. The gear changes are so quick and precise  you barely notice them. Also none of that tedious clutch slipping in first when in heavy stop-start traffic. Very relaxing.

drove one for first time yesterday

felt weird left leg,left arm doing nothing
busy urban was best,keep it in drive,foot on off  resting brake
is it best/slow accelerate?
