Possibly. Not exactly helped himself this week in the popularity stakes. He's only keeping the seat warm anyway. That much is a given.

It would be a shame, it would be nice if he could stay until the General Election.

Hoping that Dianne Abbott is given a fair crack of the whip Howdi.

As for the next Labour leader, I'm not sure.

You can just see them splitting into the Labour People's Front and the People's Front of Labour ..
If I was a sensible Labour MP looking at a future where it's run by the hard left nutjobs in momentum, I'd be considering my future.

The disgraceful Anti-Semitic comments aired by various Labour politicians this week came as no surprise whatsoever, and will actually have gone down very well indeed with what remains of Labour's core vote. These people will be voting en bloc for Labour (as usual including a heavy Postal Vote) in constituencies where Labour is perfectly happy to stage Segregated Meetings. Those voters presumably agree with the views that cost Ms Shah her PPS job, as they were never challenged.

Ms Shah should stand as an Independent in Bradford or elsewhere, continue expressing her 'pre-MP' views and the votes will roll in from the 'Community' that shares her views.

Is there a difference between Hitler wanting to send German jews to palestine and Naz Shah wanting to send Israels jews to America?

Perhaps Livingstone highlights the problems in leftist thinking that leads to extreme and violent racism.

Don`t forget there are many muslims living and working in Israel. There is a possibility that they are quite happy with this situation and may not really want it to change.
They may see it as being in their and their families interest to live and work happily in Israel with full rights as citizens.

You see in Israel you have the right to practice your religion, there is industry and the theatre and bars and shops and you can sit and sip coffee outside the many cafes in the afternoon sun.

Ebul Britain took control of Palestine when they defeated Turkey in WW1 and a twin arab and jewish state was set up in the area that is now Israel and Jordan.
It did not have to become such a disaster but as soon as the British withdrew the surrounding arab countries attacked Israel.

Millions of muslims could have lived quite happily in Israel and Jordan which also was formed at the same time.

I do not believe a Jewish State should have been set up. After WWI the whole Middle East should have been left to those who lived there,

mostly Muslim Arabs.

It was the view of T.E.Lawrence(of Arabia) and my own interpretation of History.

You have your own lfc 1971, fair enough.

The problem for those seeking a coup is that a leadership contest has to follow the same criteria as before.

The party didn't want JC but the members did.

Maybe if they surgically remove JC the members will vote for Red Ken! Laugh
By:

It could also be the Red Ken is trying to support Naz Shah's bid for London Mayor.

To do it he is trying to defend Shah's view that all Israel's Jews should go and live in United States.

A view I would agree with, but it will never happen.

Defending Adolf Hitler was a bit of mistake, if Adolf Hitler was not an anti Semite I don't who was??????????????

He wasn't defending him imo. He just stated a fact about an earlier Hitler proposal.

Ken is a wind up merchant and the media fall for it every time. Why anyone takes notice of what he says is beyond me.

There may be 2 million? muslims living in Israel today, do they really want to live in an arab country, or under the influence of neighboring arab countries

Or do they secretly think to themselves, i want to live in his free and democratic country, looking to the west and some of the better European ideas.
If things change will they be for the better.

Well you are nice bloke lfc1971

But I don't think you have the faintest idea of the amount of hate between the Palestinian Arabs and the Jews.

The Palestinian Arabs believe their country has been stolen from them. Their treatment by the Jews is not all freedom and democracy,

I wish the Palestinians Arabs would accept peace, there is still a problem over the West Bank?

I totally believe in the Palestinian cause, but only on an ideological basis, nothing more.
By:
ebulGery
When: 30 Apr 16 14:34
I understand reason for terrorism, but I do not advocate it, plus the Palestinians always come off worse anyway.
