When I say personal, I mean one on one that lasted longer than half an hour. I cant believe the secrets I have uncovered but I would never name names. Could be rich if I went to the papers though.

I've never used facebook, I prefer personal chats in person
Facebook is amazing, i spoke to Elvis only yesterday.
It wasn't facebook, but I did get a personal reply from one of my heroes, David Ashforth, the Racing Post journalist, on Twitter, my first and only proper post. I must admit I was gobsmacked 
There are very view public people that I admire or like their work and I have been meaning to write to him for decades, now things like twitter makes it easier to say thank you for the pleasure he has given me over the years.
