Just 53.

Played Justin in Minder but apparently best known for his role in Grange Hill.

Sad news that. Such a young age. Terrible disease that cancer. He seemed a decent guy. Very good in Minder.

He was great in Minder. Held his own with the great George Cole.

Indeed. The episode about the Scotland-England tickets immediayely comes to mind.

Aye, that's the episode that line is from. Was he in anything else after Minder?
Report themightymac • April 28, 2016 3:51 PM BST
He was in a sit com after Minder with Matthew Kelly but I can`t remember the name of it. Ran for a few years.

Very sad news. He contributed hugely to some of the real classic episodes. My favourite bit of the football tickets episode, is Justin marking Alistair's card as they cross Euston station - Murder incorporated, George Raft, he's met them all, you ain't talking to some Gorbals tearaway now  son. Minder was thé best ever. RIP Mark

Sounds like no one remembers him from Grange Hill, sadly I do, Cathy Hargreaves brother.

Minder was a brilliant show bankit. Sad news indeed.

Some great TV programmes in that era but Minder was in a class of its own.

Nowadays I look through the TV listings with despair. So many channels but such a lack of quality. (I haven't got Sky.)

I suppose some of it comes down to personal taste but I honestly wonder who on earth watches some of the cr@p they put out.

I agree with I agree with Nick Wink

The Minder when Arthur fakes his own death to avoid paying the Inland Revenue.

All the local villains having a drink in the Winchester, and raising their glasses in memory.

'Let's drink to Arthur'

Suddenly Justine pipes up with, ' This is on Arthur's slate, isn't it Dave?? '

R.I.P

Some disturbing confusion between Justin and Justine on this thread.
Report i_agree_with_nick • April 29, 2016 11:35 AM BST
Arfur would sometimes refer to him as Justine.
